Hello, my name is Debbie and I am the owner of Deb’s Diamond Pet Parlor. I singlehandedly managed my business for several years until I got breast cancer in 2021. Why did Deb choose grooming?
"I have always been an animal lover, and growing up I would care for the neighbors' dogs while they were on vacation, and spend hours with my own. I love to help others. When pups look and smell good, and their haircut transforms them and makes them and their owners happy, it makes me feel good. Grooming became my passion. It is hard work but very rewarding. After 15 years of grooming by myself, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in Feb, 2021. Treatments took a toll on my body and now I am stepping down from grooming and running the day in and out of the operations. All of my groomers love animals and take pride in grooming and I assure you that your pups will be well taken care of. In my spare time, I love to hang out with family and friends. We have get-togethers and also try new restaurants. I personally own three of the cutest little doxies who love to go on walks. I have two grown daughters. Shannon lives in Omaha and is a teacher in Gretna. I will be a first-time grandma in July and am very thrilled about that. Shelby lives in Utah and is a Medical Aesthetician. Never a dull moment around the house when all of our dogs get together. When you come to Deb's Diamond Pet Grooming, I promise that we treat your dogs as if they were our own." -Deb
Deb's Story
I have been in grooming for over 10 years and I started out solo until my diagnosis of breast cancer. After recovering from that, I realized how important it was to me to be able to rely on others when needed.Now, with the help of some great groomers we all work together as a team and are always there for each other should anything happen.I am a pet lover and spend most of my time caring for them. I have two dogs, two grown daughters, one grandbaby on the way, all whom I try to spend as much time with as I can.Not only do I love animals but also people in general which is why it's so important to me that you and your pet are happy.
